How it works
1. Install a template
Install the photo face from the Connect IQ Store. Until it has a picture, it shows a QR code and a six-character code.
2. Scan the watch
Scan the QR with your phone. The photo editor opens already knowing your watch model and screen size.
3. Frame your photo
Drag, zoom and darken it on a pixel-exact preview, then tap Apply to watch.
4. Wait for the watch
The watch picks the picture up through Garmin Connect, usually within five to ten minutes, and keeps it offline.
Your photo is not kept
- The original never leaves your phone; only the finished background is uploaded.
- It is deleted from our server as soon as the watch confirms it — or within 6 hours if it never arrives.
