Which watches can use these faces?

Check each face’s listing against your model and Wear OS version. Our upcoming Domestique targets Wear OS 4 or later. Older Samsung watches running Tizen use a different platform. A Galaxy or Pixel brand name alone is not a compatibility guarantee.

Do I need a WatchFaceKit phone app?

No separate WatchFaceKit phone app is required for our planned Google Play releases. Your watch still needs its normal pairing setup and Google Play access. Follow the specific developer’s instructions for any third-party companion app.

Why is my downloaded face not showing?

Confirm it was installed on the watch, not only the phone, using the correct Google account. Then open the full watch face gallery and apply it. A download does not automatically replace the active face.

Why is a complication blank?

Select a compatible provider in the face editor, then complete that provider’s setup and permissions. Some slots accept only particular data types. A screenshot can show example data rather than your watch’s default configuration.

Are complications the same as tiles?

No. Complications are fields inside a watch face; tiles are separate screens for apps and information. Adding a tile does not select a provider for a blank complication.

Will always-on look exactly like the preview?

Not necessarily. Faces may use a simplified or dimmed always-on layout. Check the developer’s description and the actual always-on view after installation. Brightness, hardware, settings and providers affect battery use; we do not promise a universal battery improvement.

Can I use Garmin faces or purchases on Wear OS?

Garmin Connect IQ and Wear OS use different formats and stores. Do not assume that buying one version unlocks another. Use the product page for the correct platform and check the terms of that listing.

Can I use Pixel Watch with an iPhone?

Google Pixel Watch does not support iPhone. For Samsung, check the exact model against Samsung’s compatibility guidance; support varies by generation. A downloadable face cannot change the watch’s phone compatibility.

Is Domestique available or free?

Domestique for Wear OS is an upcoming paid face priced at $2.99. Its preview is available, but a public Google Play install link is not yet available. It is not presented as a free download.

Should I buy again if installation fails?

First check the purchasing account, device compatibility and watch-side installation. Contact the developer through Google Play with the error and model details. A failed installation does not by itself mean you need another purchase or qualify for a refund.
