New Garmin watches in 2026 — and the watch faces that already fit

Garmin's 2026 line has landed — the Forerunner 70 and 170 just rolled out, joining the Forerunner 570 and 970, the newest Venu and vívoactive, the Fenix 8 Pro and the Instinct 3. Good news if you just unboxed one: every WatchFaceKit face already supports these models. Try any of them live in your browser, then install free from Connect IQ.

In a hurry? Browse the whole collection — all 14 faces are free right now, and all of them run on the new Forerunner 70, 170, 570 and 970, plus the latest Venu and vívoactive.

Forerunner 70 & Forerunner 170 (2026)

The freshest arrivals — Garmin's new entry AMOLED running watches (the 170 also comes in a Music edition). Bright round screens, the core training tools, and a friendly price. Because they share Garmin's standard round AMOLED layout, all 14 of our faces fit — from a clean digital to a full health dashboard. A few to start with:

AMOLED digital · 5 widgets

Lumen

Big centred time, nine accents, five data slots — a perfect clean default.

Health gauges · AMOLED

Progress Arcs

Body Battery, Calories and Steps as glowing gauges — great for a new runner.

Fenix factory style · cyclist

Domestique

Curved data labels and a split time — sporty and legible on the wrist.

Forerunner 570 & 970

The 2025 mid and flagship Forerunners — multiband GPS, brighter sensors, maps and a flashlight on the 970. All 14 faces run on both; the data-rich ones make the most of the bigger screen. Try 1989 Enduro (multisport dashboard), Metric Rings (health rings) or Weather Dial (hourly forecast on the bezel).

Venu 4 & vívoactive 6

Garmin's newest lifestyle AMOLED watches — bright, colourful and everyday. Our cleaner, more colourful faces suit them best: Lumen, Diamond Valley (a rose-gold jewelry look), 24-Hour Clock or the playful Fill or Drain. (Diamond Valley aside, all of our faces also fit the vívoactive 6.)

Fenix 8 Pro

The flagship adventurer — and the first Garmin watch with built-in inReach satellite messaging and LTE. Thirteen of our faces fit it; the rugged and analog looks pair well: Inside Watch, Luxury Chronometer or the military 24-Hour Clock. For the hardware rundown see best Garmin watch for hiking.

Instinct 3 (AMOLED)

The rugged AMOLED Instinct takes the bold, high-contrast faces best — nine of ours are built for it, including 24-Hour Clock, Progress Arcs and Inside Watch. More picks in best watch faces for Instinct 3.
