New Garmin watches in 2026 — and the watch faces that already fit

Garmin's 2026 line has landed — the Fenix 9 and 9 Pro just landed, joining the Forerunner 70 and 170, the Forerunner 570 and 970, the newest Venu and vívoactive, the Fenix 8 Pro and the Instinct 3. Good news if you just unboxed one: almost every round AMOLED face of ours already supports the AMOLED models. The Fenix 9 Pro Solar takes our faces made for MIP, the Instinct 3 Solar our faces made for Instinct, and the rectangular Venu X1 takes the rectangular ones. Each face page lists its exact models: try any of them live in your browser, then install from Connect IQ.

MARQ (Gen 3) (October 2026)

Garmin's luxury line reached its third generation on 13 October 2026: six editions (Athlete, Adventurer, Golfer, Aviator, Commander and Diver) from $2,500. All six share a 47 mm titanium case and a 1.4-inch AMOLED screen, bigger than the 1.2-inch one on MARQ (Gen 2), and add LTE, satellite messaging and a flashlight. Connect IQ already lists the watch, and all our round AMOLED faces support MARQ (Gen 3) (since 15 October 2026) — browse them; each face page names it under Round AMOLED. Rectangular and Instinct faces are not for it.

Fenix 9 & Fenix 9 Pro (August 2026)

The newest flagship — launched 25 August 2026, from $999. The Fenix 9 doubles the display brightness to ~2,000 nits, adds a titanium caseback and 64 GB, and keeps the same AMOLED resolution as the Fenix 8 — so every face that fits the AMOLED Fenix 8 fits the Fenix 9 on day one. Forerunner 70 & Forerunner 170 (2026)

The freshest arrivals — Garmin's new entry AMOLED running watches (the 170 also comes in a Music edition). Bright round screens, the core training tools, and a friendly price. Forerunner 570 & 970

The 2025 mid and flagship Forerunners — multiband GPS, brighter sensors, maps and a flashlight on the 970. Check each face’s compatible-device list for your exact watch; data-rich layouts can make the most of the bigger screen. Try 1989 Sport LCD (multisport dashboard), Metric Rings (health rings) or Weather Dial (hourly forecast on the bezel).

Venu 4 & vívoactive 6

Garmin's newest lifestyle AMOLED watches — bright, colourful and everyday. Our cleaner, more colourful faces suit them best: Lumen, Diamond Valley (a rose-gold jewelry look), 24-Hour Clock or the playful Fill or Drain. Fenix 8 Pro

The flagship adventurer — and the first Garmin watch with built-in inReach satellite messaging and LTE.
