Germany Park Atlas
Sixteen illustrated landscapes, one for every national park in Germany, behind a large digital time: from the Alpine lake of Berchtesgaden to the chalk cliffs of Jasmund, the beech forests of Hainich and all three Wadden Sea parks. Pick one, or let them rotate through the day. The date sits on top; the park name, battery and steps sit below. For round AMOLED Garmin watches.

On the wrist
All sixteen German national parks.
Sixteen landscapes
Alpine peaks and lakes, the Bavarian Forest, the tidal flats of Schleswig-Holstein, Lower Saxony and Hamburg, the chalk coast of Jasmund, the Harz, the sandstone towers of Saxon Switzerland, the Müritz lakes, the Western Pomerania lagoons, the Lower Oder Valley, Hainich, the Eifel, Kellerwald-Edersee, the Black Forest and Hunsrück-Hochwald. Original illustrations stored on the watch: no photo service, no network.
A change of scenery
Choose your park in the settings, or turn on rotation: every 30 minutes or every hour the face moves to the next park, starting from your favourite, and cycles through all sixteen. Time that passes while the watch sleeps counts, so you wake up to the right scene.
German names, clear layout
Park names keep their German spelling, umlauts included, and the four longest wrap onto two lines. Large white digits and the date sit above the scenery; watch battery and today’s steps sit at the bottom. 12- or 24-hour time or follow the watch; the date in English or Russian. Missing steps show --.
Calm always-on
Always-on drops the landscape and keeps an outlined time and date in the centre, alternating dark rows every minute. No sensors are read while the watch sleeps. The artwork is an artistic interpretation, not a map or official park imagery. Prefer canyons and geysers? USA Park Atlas has ten American national parks.
